Dear Infracost Team, I hope you’re doing well. I recently came across Infracost and was truly impressed by the product especially how it brings cost visibility to infrastructure as code, which I find incredibly valuable for DevOps teams. Allow me to introduce myself — my name is Rahul, and I’m a DevOps Engineer and Golang Developer. While exploring open-source projects, I discovered Infracost and was excited to see that it’s open source. I would love to contribute and add value to the project. I’ve joined the Infracost community, but I noticed that some channels are restricted. Could you please guide me on where I can discuss issues, identify suitable beginner-friendly tasks, and understand the best way to start contributing? I’m eager to learn from the community and make meaningful contributions.

Hi Rahul, Thanks for the interest, we always love input from the community. But typically we do not have outside contributors. Ours is an enterprise product with a source-available component. Sometimes our customers opt to contribute with ideas or fixes. But otherwise it's entirely maintained by our corporate team. So probably wouldn't be the best place to start for what you're looking for. But appreciate you reaching out, best of luck!

Hey @swift-furniture-85673, I really appreciate your concern. To be straightforward I’m very interested in joining Infracost. I’d love to get some information that can help me focus fully on preparing for a role there. Even if things don’t work out immediately, I still want to stay involved and contribute because I truly love the work and the product you guys are building. Is this a good place to talk about that?

Appreciate the interest! But no, this is probably not the appropriate place to be doing that. This is for supporting our community and customers who need assistance. If you're job hunting I'd recommend going through the right channels, you can check out the job board and apply per the instructions for a position that you think matches your skillset
