Hey, I have a pretty general question because I have trouble understanding licensing for Infracost. Can we use infracost API for free as a company? Or will that mean breaching licensing agreements? License in github is Apache so that would normally mean we're good to go but license on infracost site is more strict and I'm confused here.

The apache license is for the CLI source code itself. But when using the tool, it will make API calls to our hosted pricing API, which is separate. So then we offer three options: • 1,000 calls to our hosted pricing API per month - free. Enough for a small terraform repo if you're running it yourself. • We sell CI/CD API packages of 10k additional calls for $250/mo each • Then Infracost Cloud, which includes all the platform features, such as: ◦ We run the runners for you, no CICD setup needed ◦ Analyze cost changes across all repos/branches/projects/etc in one place ◦ Finops policies ◦ Tagging policies ◦ Guardrails ◦ Reporting ◦ Campaigns ◦ Autofix ◦ Team & Enterprise features
