Hi, I would like to know which is the right way to do, running infracost directly on the folder or pass the plan json input?

If you already generate a TF plan JSON file in your CI/CD then we recommend passing that, otherwise you can run Infracost on the folder. The folder method (aka Terraform directory) works best for running the CLI on your laptop or using the <https://github.com/infracost/vscode-infracost/|VScode extension>.
