Hiya Infracost team, We are looking at using the API only integration and are looking to purchase additional runs, however we noticed that the stripe link in the ui is linked to a recurring charge sku not a usage based sku. We were expecting that the $250 charge would be a 1 time charge for the additional runs, not a recurring $250.

Welcome @chilly-jewelry-72630. API Only integration is sold in blocks of 10k runs for $250 each. So if you need 20k runs a month, that's $500 a month.

The phrasing on the Billing Page implies that it is a one time purchase of $250 for 10k additional runs. And it doesn't say that you will be upgrading to the starter plan. So I guess that's where the disconnect is.

thank you, that would be helpful. A question I have is if we go over the 10,000 per month, do we/can we "buy up" to 20,000 a month or do we have to move to the next pricing tier @ $1,000/month

You can buy another block of 10k runs per month for an additional $250 per month.

Ok, and currently our CTO is the only person authorized to check out on additional costs, however he doesn't have an account in the system, will you (infracost, not Sean :D) be able to determine that cto@mycompany.com is the same as phil@mycompany.com (for the account) or does the billing contact need to be phil@mycompany.com?

I believe you would just give the CTO the Stripe link from the Infracost UI and the included metadata would provide the needed association, but let me verify.
