Hi everyone, we are trying to self-host the infracost cloud API, but we don't want to update the pricing data weekly, just a one-time download. Do we need to obtain the infrcost_api_key for this also?

Yes.  You can signup and download the api key from <https://dashboard.infracost.io|our website> if that’s easier.

Once logged in people will typically create a new organization for the company and <https://www.infracost.io/docs/infracost_cloud/key_concepts/#team-management|invite> whoever is needed to that.

We just need the key, we don't want to link our GitHub or just the key to self-host it.

I guess I don’t understand what you mean by corporate org then.  If you sign up you can get your api key on the Org Settings page (General tab)

You can sign up with email/password so you don’t need to link to your github account.

My question was, for obtaining the api-key, is the procedure the same for both, a company and an individual? i.e., email/password signup.
